Not to mention with rc screwz (you over), you never know what kind of screws you're going to get. From my experience, it looked as though they just dumped a bunch of random metric screws into a container.

Crap, good to know, thanks. I have a set for the Vorza and now a set for the EB48 on the way. Are there good kits out there?

what's wrong with the stock hardware? or you can go to http://www.fastener-express.com and get some black oxide screws if you're just looking for spares

It's just for spares, I built it with the stock screws. It was nice to have a kit of the ones used in the buggy, or so I thought. Should have checked some reviews.

a screw set on hand just seems to be alot more convenient than trying to buy 100 of every screw or leaving the track to go to the hobby shop to replace the screw you just stripped...

Check out the Protek screws, they are grade 12.9, you will not find any stronger screws

Break in diffs like the manual says. I went 1 step further and changed out fluid after break in.

Ran my buggy for the first time yesterday! Wow this thing is awesome! I was running on a large 1/8th scale track with some huge jumps. The surface is hard pack base with a soft, sandy layer on top. So needless to say, traction is hard to come by. I'm gonna be racing it there tomorrow so I don't have time to change springs or pistons or anything like that. But I would like to improve the setup a little. Right it's box stock and it's ok but it could be way better. It doesn't seem as planted as I'd like and it's pushing in the turns. Any setup tips or setups you would recommend?

Finally finished the body. My best work yet.

I also replaced the large "pimp size" fan with two smaller "less pimp" fans. It actually puts out more airflow

My first race is tomorrow. Can't wait.

The area that you insert the hex wrench into the head of the screw is also shallow on there screw sets and so they strip somewhat easier than the stockers after being taken in n out a few times...but zero rust so I still use them.

Also I use aka red foams to the guy that asked about foams. High quality and feel awesome.
