hey guys,im wanting to pull the trigger on a ebuggy.after looking at a bunch of them ive narrowed it down to this tekno, mugen and losi.the thing about this tekno that kinda bugs be is after looking at several setup sheets and reading this thread,it seems this buggy needs to run alot with only the front brace in place.is this a issue for inconsistant traction?also, does the chassis wear out from flexing alot?does the amout of flex change over time?..otherwise it seems like a cool buggy!any input would be appreciated..the last buggy i had was 4-5 years ago,i had a kyosho nitro.

Are you buying new? If so you will want to check out the EB48.3 thread. That will have more pertinent info.

There were very little differences between the .1 and .2. Mostly just some of the upgrades that were available for the .1 Geometry was the same between the two.
Fierce Solutions sell a .3 upgrade package for the EB and SCT. Go for it if you want.

Curious if anyone has tried the new ackerman steering setup on an EB48/.2 and what if any improvements did you notice?
I currently run a Super Light indoors using the EB48/.2 geometry with light weight parts and was curious if this might be an improvement on this platform? I also have a EB48.3 and my light weight .2 gets around the track quicker regardless of layout.

I am just curious if anyone has already done this and what their perceived results were. I have the parts and am unsure if I should install them on my .3 or my .2 - SL as it may not be a worth while improvement for the .2 geometry?
which body for the EB48.2 has the best clearance for the steering servo turnbuckle? The S1 Jconcepts, seems too close for comfort. Also its tight against the 4S body. Curious if the stock EB48 body would be best? Running a Hitec Ti servo with a Protek clamping servo arm.
Trying to help. fellow racer out, as such am not a Tekno savy guy.
any help is appreciated.

I added the same update to my SL and I am wondering if was a bad idea because with the buggy off the ground it results in some major bump steer, the front tires get some serious toe out at full droop. I haven't had the chance to run it yet but I will report back with my findings in a few week once I have done a back to back comparison. I'm not 100% sure the newer .4 steering set up was intended for the SL.
