Jason, got my 5k mah batteries today, fit very nice in my new serpent.
I would also like to say I have a 4s I had in my etruggy and it worked better than my gens ace did,ran cooler and longer. Now I need to wait for my new motor to arrive for my buggy to try out the 2 2s I just got. Good product Jason.

Great, thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I was partial to the 4S labels as well!

I'm not sure if I'll have the items shipping from my site or not. Working through logistics and the costing of it. Details to come in the next week.

It's looking like early January at this point. Manufacturer doesn't have them available at this point. Thanks.

Awesome sale going on now. All packs and ridiculous pricing on the mini packs. Check it out!

For those of you running these packs, how have they been? I'm more concerned about life and consistency than power (I run mod 2w buggy and mod 4w buggy so I can tune the esc for power)

Also, what is the weight of the 4500 50c shorty and 4000 60c shorty?

Thanks

I have 2 4000mah 60c shorty lipos. I have had them for about 9 months. When I 1st got them the power was incredible. I had to be easy with the throttle or my b4.1xl (truck chassis) would wheely all the way down the front straight for the 1st 7mins or so. The shorty would give me nearly 30mins of run time for practice.

Now, 9 months later, after averaging 4 cycles per week most of which are charged at 20a (tw recommends 2c max charge rate which would be 8a for these) both of them have started to get soft. I am down to less than 25mins of run time & I can only pull wheelies for the 1st 3-4 laps. Everyone @ the track still comments on how powerfull & fast my buggy is down the straight, its just not as over the top as it used to be.

I have to describe both lipos a very slightly puffed as neither sits completely flat any longer, but you can't tell their puffed by looking at them. Both lipos balance to with in 3mv & have IR in the range of 6-7 mohms. I do put them in storage mode any time I'm not going to use them for more than 24 hours.

Considering the abuse (number of cycles & charge rate) I have heaped on these lipos in the last 9 months I have no complaints at all. In a perfect world, I would like to see a little more longevity out of them, but at their price I won't complain about what I have gotten. They have lasted longer than any other "cheap" lipos I have tried (gens ace, turnigy, geforce-very cheap, very crappy, died in 3 months, would not waranty). For anyone on a budget I would recommend these lipos over comparably priced lipos.

Thanks that's good feedback. I just noticed that the 4500 50c's are OOS but they were available 2 days ago.

TW127, any word when they'll be back in stock?
