I was very impressed by the price of these batteries but ever since the move to amazon ill by the crc shorty or the promatch I don't mean to piss in your cheerio bowl but that's what drawed me to this brand. The price has went up 15 dollars in the last month. Talk about inflation.

Actually the price only went up $5 and if you have Amazon prime it's still cheaper than purchasing plus shipping and handling. You must have purchased some when they were on sale.

I thought at one time you had free shipping if you bought 2 lipos? Actually, its free shipping over $70 purchase from what I am seeing on the website.

Maybe that is factored into the price people are thinking of?

I have already ordered and received the batterys and tested them. They are good batteries and I have had no problems with them. But the 50c shorty was 39.95 and the 60c shorty was 45.95. Now amazon.com has the shorty 50c listed at 54.95. That's 20 dollars more for the same battery. I don't see that as good salesmanship. I'm sorry. I know everyone has to make their money but come on I don't believe I bought my batteries on sale but maybe I did. And excuse me for ranting but its just my honest opinion.

honestly, he has a right to charge what he wants for the batteries.

You do though have a right to voice your opinion on what you think about the price.

You also have the right to not buy the batteries at that price which may get the price back to what it was.

Are there any other changes like a longer warranty with the new price?

I understand I have a choice and I'm not saying anything bad about the batteries. I'm only stating what I feel.

Hey Matt,

You did get your batteries on sale. I've had some sales trying to get the name out there. And it's $15 difference now than what you paid for it on sale, not $20. The packs have always been at a higher price than that. The sale equates to a 20% discount from what the price was and I've had several of them. Lot's of stores and companies have sales where they offer a higher percentage off. It's a method to attract customers to your product and hope to keep them long term. McDonalds has plenty of 2 for 1 offers. That's in essence a 50% reduction in price. I've also used it as a tool to keep fresh packs in stock so you aren't purchasing something that's been sitting on a shelf for months.

Yes the price did increase on Amazon. I'd be better off selling them on my own site because Amazon is now taking a cut (a lot bigger than the $5.00 increase), but many people have requested the ability to get packs quicker. By using Amazon I can reach more customers and have the ability for someone to order a pack in the afternoon and receive it the next day. Unfortunately I don't sell enough to quit my day job and wait for orders all day.

I don't think I'm trying to rob anyone, I'm out to provide a good product for a good price with great customer service. If you don't feel that purchasing one of my packs is a good deal or worth it then you shouldn't purchase one. I've always been transparent in business and if you don't feel that the product or service is worth the price you should go elsewhere. I want people to be excited about my product when they purchase it. You own a pack, so you know how they perform and the price to performance ratio. Make your decision based upon that.

Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.

Jason

The warranty is still 6 months. I've only had one warranty claim so far and the "brand new never used" battery came back all scratched up and puffed. They couldn't charge it with their charger because the voltage was too low.

No prob. Just a suggestion, with the new prices, maybe upping the warranty or offering other features like some of the other brands do (50% price replacement, etc) would go a long way with making the new prices more palatable?

Just a thought.

I can tell you that when I am ready to buy new batteries I will be buying right here. I am glad you said that Amazon is taking a cut so I will not buy from there. My only issue is that my new Caster buggy requires saddle packs which means for that I will have to go elsewhere. And the batteries are still cheaper than just about everywhere. Now, if I could just get you to have a sale when I am ready to buy that would be perfection.
