Patrick,

Walk us through the calibration you are doing. I get the feeling we are missing a minor, but important, piece of information.

This is how it should work:

1. esc off, radio on.
2. Hold full throttle and turn on car.
3. Should get a flashing light and after a few seconds a tone, the lights will change.
4. Go to full reverse. Hold again until the tone and light change.
5. Release the throttle.
6. Should get a round of beeps and then a solid yellow light.

Tell me where in those steps things break down.

hi.

esc off > radio on holding throttle > esc on > direct flashing green led without anything else - no matter how long to wait (i´ve really waited 5 minutes ) - no beeps, nothing else

Go to the track and give it to someone with experiance and I'm pretty sure your just missing something. Problem is the more you look at it and more you think you tried everything in the end its probably still something little being missed.

I know when I look at a problem for so long that I actually miss the simple stuff. If I walk away for a few hours and start over I normally find it.

The last time I had a problem just like that with a customer that came in I found out his servo was bad and when I fixed that his receiver was bad. I also had them not set right with the servo plugged in and since it was bad I couldn't get the speedo to set.

You don't even get the signature castle beeps when initially turning the ESC on? If so, definitely a defective unit.
