The local carpet track is running ST 13.5 stock class so I am getting mine ready for some action. Anyone know any secrets to keep the arms from breaking?

Man, I can't do that! I guess I will run all my Durangos till parts are gone. Who knows, maybe someone will buy the brand? Not!

Go back within this thread, there’s quite a few posts regarding using lacing wire. I’ve done it and haven’t broken any since.

Default New Losi

I'm wondering if the body on the new losi truck will fit the DEST210...

Can you use a DEX 210 +8 chassis for the DEST? Looks to be roughly the same length wheelbase. Wondering in particular if all the DEST parts will swap over to the aluminum chassis with the side pods. Is there a few interference issues that can be remedied with some simple trimming?

First time out with her for a few years. I never got her handling right back then and this meet wasn't any different. Changed setting sand tyres for each of the four rounds and all the lap times were within 3 seconds of each other and my FTD's all within a second no matter what set up. I was around six seconds off the laps of the only other 2wd runner which was a buggy

Two weeks later I did a truck national and ended up retiring the Durango after bruning through 3 spur gears and ended up running my FTX Siege instead which was slightly quicker despite being much, much cheaper and rear motor on the grippy astro turf.

I've now made some radical set up changes for the next outing. First been fixing the slipper, second being lowering it about 10-12mm to 19mm. I had noticed that the other trucks (T6.1's) were running much lower so figured it might be worth a try.

Racing on a very wet astro turf track, great fun but took some cleaning afterwards

Anyone have some rear arms or a chassis they'd like to sell? Would consider rollers if the price is right.

Hoping to brush the cobwebs away and get my DEST210 out racing again in a couple of weeks, on carpet. Not too sure on tyres but I'm sure I'll figure it out by the final 😊

If anyone is interested I have a DEST210R and the DESC210R brand new kit versions (well they were brand new when TD went out of business). Going to put them both up for sale soon. Shoot me a PM to deal.
