indoor clay im running slicks w/ proline closed cell w/ stock foams shoved under them. sounds like it should be really stiff, but its not really. stiffer then a bomb one firm tho.

the other option is to wrap tape around the rim (i fill up till its level with the edge of the rim when i do this)

Ok, so as many as us AE t4.1 drivers know, the stock servo that comes in the rtr kit really sucks. I should have found an alternative after the first one gave way, but didn't. I just went thru my fourth SHV1504MG servo today, and now have had enough. What kinda servos have y'all found as an upgrade for the t4.1? I'm looking for a higher torque and speed servo. And does anyone know of any manufacture that sells blue anodized servos? I've seen silver.. Thanks guys

I love the Savox 1258. Super fast and plenty strong. I also just tried out an MKS DS1210 and so far I have been pretty happy with it and its quite a bit cheaper. Neither fit the blue anodized criteria though.

Thanks..I've never heard of MKS, but I've heard alot about savox. Sounds like there are quite a few people who swiched their stock servo to a savox...is 1258 the correct model for the t4.1 application?? Thanks for your input.

im ganna fill the rim with tape and see how that goes. Blues are working well on everything else. Cant stand pinks.

MKS commonly has banner adds on RC Tech. Like I said, its a decent servo and I only paid $35 for it. Seems like quite a steal. The Savox 1258 would be perfect for a T4. Tons of torque and super fast.

Did you have to use the adapter kit to fit your t4? Or did they go right on.. What oil weights are you running? Spring set up? And which rpm limiters did you use? i Like the setup and I'm experimenting with my PLs trying to dial them in.. Thanks

how would this work?

any find any other springs other that rt5 or 22t springs that work on the front?

the green 22t spring seems too soft for the front.
