I've been outta the RC game for 10+ years. I'm very much looking forward to getting this thing going again with a new Tekin RSPro setup, a T4.1, and a Futaba 2.4ghz radio. Oh how times have changed.

:p

Sounds like you're well on your way! Welcome. :tire:

What tires are you guys running, I will be running in the Bigfoot race at Mike's in Dallas next weekend. It is a High traction track, I don't know the layout because they are changing it after this week's club race. Gonna be running 17.5. Thanks, Tim

Track I run on is also high grip, hard packed Georgia clay. I run barcodes up front and suburbs out back. Almost have too much grip.

Just jump in head first bro. You're going to spend the loot anyway. Be sure to figure the cost of incidentals like tools, tires, glue, spares, springs, pistons, clips, oils, something to carry everything in.... It never ends. This hobby will $5 you to death! :p

my truck overall is running great but in mid turn of a large sweeper my rear end wants to wash a tad if i stay on throttle a lil too hard and after a double at the end of the sweeper it has a right turn and when i make the jump my rear end wants to wash a lil and i have rmoved the washers lowered the camber link at the ubrace by rmoving the washer from under the ball stud and it has bn better but still washes a tad and i dont know what to do to lock the rear end a lil more

These should help stabilize the rear of the truck just a little bit more.

Do they make that much of a difference compared to the stock plastic?

Hey guys' i'm an on road racer. acquired a t4 awhile back.

Now that we have a dirt track in town. though I'd get her up and running and see, and have some fun.

I believe the truck started it's life from an RTR kit I just have the truck.

so what would be a good set up to start and what can be done to upgrade her.

Any help would be great.

thanks

RPM rod ends, rpm front bumper, avid steering crank and bearings are just a few things you can do. As for setups check AE's website and see what the pro's are doing and adjust from there accordingly.......

front bumper is only needed if you're constantly slamming into things. stadium truck is open-wheel, so it's a lot less rubbing than say, SC racing. You rub with a stadium truck and most times both of you will end up eating it.

The carbon upper hub tower should help a bit. More rear toe, shorter wheelbase, add the AE ballast weight, battery position, add internal shock limiters (should help sidebite), ride height. Also drilling the 4th hole in the tower like cav. does on his latest setup sheets should help with sidebite as well....

a lot of guys out here run the RPM front bumper, the large kind and they are really good drivers. Alittle extra protection up front I am assuming worth saving the a-arms.
