I am not convinced the slop is bad. Or at least not that bad. I kinda liked my car more as it broke in. Well, the slop in the rear hubs was bad. But i can live with the rest.

Jc has a hex conversion axle and wheel setup so u can use hex wheels on fr/rr. Check out their site for details. I dont think it is released quite yet though....

heya, grobe. I saw the name and figured it was you. Raced with you in killeen and a few other places. I dislike the quick release. I saw a guy DNF this past weekend with the Kyosho QR wheels. The spring that held the hook in place went out. You will see hexes become the new standard though. The AE team drivers are mostly all using hex. But as to a T4.2 with hexes, BB and a VTS. I dont think we will see any .2 versions until after worlds. And it wont come until the B4 gets it first. Buggy is some much more popular than ST right now. Well always.

Wait... did you mean quick change shocks?

sup man.. hows it been.. you coming back to TX anytime soon? im hoping the Stadium truck kicks back into gear.. this class is by far my most favorite class ever..

I had the RT5 for a long time.. and love the quick change wheels, and also the fact that i could run front on rear, and vice verca..

is there anything needed other than the big bore kit to make the T4 a big bore truck?

i think avid has a pretty nice slipper setup for this truck i think.. not certain yet..

nothing special needed on the shocks. they come with the spacers. you will need springs.... with the hex conversion you can use wheels front to rear

all preference IMO.

i run a shorty because of the way i have my electronics mounted, my esc is in the battery tray at the back. i also like the flexibility the shorty gives you with moving weight around to tune.

It is 100% preference. Aoh, I still suggest to try a long pack vs shorty pack one day to see what feels best.

I had my sc10 working pretty good last weekend with alot of help from friends. I didnt run my T4 so I have a couple of questions. With the T4 being lighter and shorter should I run a lighter wt oil and springs to get the same type of handling? Indoor wet clay slicks/ghost pins work best. Running V2 shocks with stock springs.

I've been lighter in my T4, typically 30 wt front 27.5 in the rear. I like my SC10 much better than my T4 though. If I could get my T4 like my SC10 I would be in much better shape.
