Do you have the castle link or field card?

If so, you can see about adjusting some of the settings to call it down. I had to do this with the 4600kv motor in 1/10 2wd stadium truck. It was a beast there too.

If you are just playing around with the buggy and not racing, why not just keep the motor you have in it? If it is to fast or powerful use a castle link or field card to reduce come of the power.

No point to spend more money on another motor if you are not racing

If you are racing. That is a whole different game

I would say pickup another field card or castle link and try adjusting the throttle curve into a half-moonish shape.

You can also play with what I believe is the start power setting or something similar. basically you want to calm the motor down.

Trust me, its possible. A software update may also help. I know I had all kinds of hard starts on my old MMM and had to run (I forget what its called) a lot of limiting or whatever, like 70 - 90%. after the update, was down to 30% and had much faster laptimes.

I'd highly recommend you posting on the Mamba Max Pro thread and ask about the various settings via castle link or even the using the controller method you can adjust to calm the motor down.
