Default Hyper 10TT Shock(s) question

I am looking at/found a Hyper 10TT but have a question for you seasoned guys (and girls) about the shock pic's I have seen.

It seems that 1/2 of the Hyper 10TT pictures I look at show a rubber shock "boot" to cover the shaft (insert inappropriate condom joke here) under the spring, but the other half show the shock shaft exposed.

Is there a 1.0 shock and 2.0 shock or something?

There is only one shock. Factory the shocks come with the boots.

Most of the "boots" I have seen on the 10TT's are black though. I have not seen any clear ones.

If there is no shock boot, it is because the owner removed them. Some people like running with out the boots because you get a bit more travel from the shock since the boot is not bunching up as it is compressed. It is really personal prefrence.
