Default Talon Tire question...

Hey guys, my question is how can you tell if your tire is wearing out. I've had my stampede for about a year now, and the talons seems like its been the same shape. Sry i'm a noob at this..Thanks...^.^

Your lucky. I tore my talons at the bead on 6s on my erevo after 10th run.

Tread depth. If they look fine though, they should be.

You'll see the edges of the tires rounding off as they wear. When the tires are brand new, you'll notice that the studs have nice, sharp, 90 degree edges on them. If you're bashing, having tires with rounded edges really doesn't matter; you'll be fine as long as there is some tread left. If you're racing, though, you want sharp edges so the tire grabs the track surface better. You'd probably want to get a different set of tires anyway if you were going to race the truck though.
