Casper - thanks for checking us out, the place is amazing, we're lucky to have it. We actually had a big race back in July, almost 300 entries with drivers like the current European Champion Lee Martin(Tamiya), Tom Cockerill(Schumacher) from the UK, Scott Brown(AE) from the U.S., and Michael Schoettler(AE) also from the U.S. - Good times! 2012 will have a 1/10th off road ROAR race and 2013 will be even bigger.
You really should use kicker and if using Losi glue use the blue lable Std glue as it is thicker and stays put better. The kicker makes a stronger bond and does not let the glue flow through the holes as it is drying. Once you get it down it is pretty easy to do but yeah I made a mess of my first couple as well!

It is awsome to see the hobby grow and these amazing facilities open up. I always wanted to see an "outdoor cover" like that for an offroad track.

Yep, they fit just right. Much better than my nasty looking homemade ones. And cheaper than a bottle of kicker to get the glue to dry!

What gearing should I start at with a 13.5 motor and an 84t spur? Im at 24 now, but im just curious what others are running. Running on a small, high bite, indoor clay track with a small straight.

Default Battery Placement?

On the Adomo setup, does he run his shorty pack all the way back against the anti-squat block or does he have foams in there? Aluminum battery brace? I seen he just has one pad laid down in front.

[QUOTE=Frank Root;11165396]Try 27.5wt with yellow springs
Is this change just for the rear? or the oil wt change in the front and spring change for the back.

Anyone else here running the mid motor setup. I just got my kit and am going to use the mid motor option. I'm thinking it will drive better than the rear motor option.

Well, my new Bulldog body has been painted by Josh and I'm extremely happy with the job he did!

I run mid motor on clay and really liking it. I run a shorty pack, no weight kit, just a 1/2oz on the read camber block. Custom esc mount and rear sway bar. Still tweaking my set up, but really surprised how hard l can push it with a 6.5t motor.

Id like to see the esc mount. I'm currently running the reedy esc and its a little big. I'm using the sonic 5.5 right now and live it. Where did u get the swaybar kit from?

Hopefully these help.

In the last picture if you can see it. I cut a groove to receive the sway bar across the camber block. I used a B4 sway bar kit, but custom made the sway bar itself. I believe I need a heavy gauge wire though. The ESC mount is just lexan bent to fit and held in place with the tranny screws. A couple other things, I'm running a 78t spur to move the motor back, also cut the side pods so I can run the battery across the chassis. I haven't tried that yet because I felt the truck was handling good the way it is.

Has anyone in mid motor tried the 2 hole pistons? My truck didn't dig in with a shorty pack until I tried them, I assume they'd help the rear of a mid motor truck dig in quite a bit. Might be worth a shot.
