You have two tries to make a Loose nuts race. The electic series on June 9th and the MN series the weekend after. I am putting the cam on the very fast Kendall Welch's car for the electric race.

I have an issue with my thrust bearing screws breaking. how tight should the thrust bearing screw be? I run a stock motor so i tighten the slipper to the point where i get very little slip. I've broken two already. I've heard they should be tightened so that when the rear wheels are spun in opposite directions, they should rotate one and a half turns. Is this true.
Ive just installed AE thrust bearing screw, i heard they were better quality. Before i tighten everything down, i thought id seek confirmation on how tight they should be.

It is covered here in previous pages how to perform the "flick test" you want less than one rotation, that will get you dialed in correctly. Once this is set right the truck is an absolute beast! But make sure you keep checking this, it can back off. The truck is very touchy to this setting changing.

Default 22t help!

Ok i have a 22tquestion that is still pretty new but am having issues with it not steering to the right at times. First i thought it was the servo so i put a new sc1256tg savox in it and it is still having issues to the right. Ive checked for binding and its not, im at a loss of how to fix this. Its my wifes truck and we have a race tomarrow and really want to find a fix by tomarrow.

I checked the servo horn when i changed the servo wednesday, was like new still. Ive never had a problem like this, starting to think this rack steering is a stupid idea. Ive had alot of r/c trucks and have never had a problem like this. Turns great to the left but only has issues to the right.

is it shimmed properly, i.e. is the horn hitting when turning right. Had that issue in my 22 buggy just wasn't shimmed just right and made contact when turning to the right.

Is it not turning right at all or just some of the time? Have you ruled out receiver and transmitter problems?
