Nice, if you decide to run the other weights let us know how it handled.

same here. last night was the first time i ran it and it worried me because i thought i might have done something wrong. i think you have to really crank it down because the actual slipper pad is kind of small. whatever it may be, it worked just fine once the spring got squished.

is anyone running a lot of weight in the rear? like an ounce or more?

Default jconcepts finnisher body

Just thought id share a cool lil trick i figured out while doin my new finnisher body for my 22t.....cut the bottom of the body in the rear further into the wheelwell , heat it up a lil and bend it creating a nice lil flare that just so happens to cover the shocks up from gettin slammed with debris...

Nice trick. I didn't like the looks of that body at first, buy the more I see it the more I like it. Plus the fender flare you made adds some cool factor to it as well.

Havent yet been able to put ur under trays on, but with the wings on the bottom of the jc body combined with ur guards in a way ive yet to perfect, it should be quite sick! Doesnt help time wise or wallet wise that im buildin an strr rite now either! Lol!! Thanks for an awesome piece u make at an undeniably stellar price too btw!! Kudo's to ya!

No problem and I'm glad you like them. Obviously I'm not doing it to get rich. Just keeps a little money in the RC fund. It's either mess with my RC's or watch reality TV with the wife, love the wife, hate reality TV. Post some pic with that body w/ the pods once you get everything mounted up, I'd like to see how it looks.

Default Lrp 10.5 getting Hot

I'm running a lrp 10.5 motor in the 22T and it seems to get hot rather quicly but when I had this installed in the buggy never got hot on me. I'm gearing the truck at 21/82 the manual says for 10.5 22/82 so I'm left a little confused on why this is happening, and anyone running a 10.5 please chime in and lmk what you are geared at I would greatly appreciate it. Neither one of my lrp motors ever got hot on me and I hear alot of people say they tend to run hot.

My 13.5 always ran hot, in the truck or buggy (XXX versions). How hot, is the timing turned up on the motor or ESC, track conditions? I don't have to tell you , you know it all plays a part. Is it too hot or hotter than you'd like it to be?
