I have 2 question, like I've said before this is my 1st 2wd rc.
1- after finishing the build I noticed that the entire ball diff housing can be moved side to side in the tranny case, is this normal? I looked the manual over but besides the bearings being put on either side, there's no mention of shimming.
2nd- I've decided to buy the emulsion plastic shock caps. I run these on my desc410 and work great. So I built the front with stock 27.5/56 pistions and rears with 32.5/55 pistion, green spring in front and pink in rear. I was setting up my ride height with everything on and when dropping from about 8-12in the car lands very stiff. Is this normal for stadium trucks? I mean I'm used to the car landing and having a damping feel/look to it but this thing lands very solid. Maybe since it's so light? I've taken the shocks off and double checked them but they rebound almost nill and feel good in hand. I've done my shocks on the Durango desc and dex multi times and they come out and dampin great. I guess I just expect the truck to land, shink down, then settle at it's ride height like those 2 rc's do but it doesn't.

You are a couple springs stiff then what I run in the rear and 2.5wt heavier. We are finding this truck likes a little softer setups then what we originally started with. I am running a white rear spring currently.

Do you have the battery in for the drop test? What battery are you using?

I just ordered the yellow rears but I guess I should also pick up a white. So are the green front springs to stiff also? I wonder if using both gray o-rings is causing to much stiction? My guess no, at least not as stiff as I'm seeing.

Is Dunfords posted somewhere? Tyler's truck is really good except on exit. Truck has great forward bite and gets in good. We have only one weekend on it. You know when it has enough forward bite when he can just punch his Viper 7.5 system and it doesn't even try to spin out.

i notice a lot of people running buggy rear springs on the rear shocks of this truck. aren't they shorter? does this have any negative effect, like the spring being loose on the shock?
