Needle nose pliers do the same thing, and a Hobby knife for removal...lol. Work on a pit towel your chances of finding them increase, but then you can always buy the captured ones. Next on my list. I hate them too. So RTR'ish to have e-clips.

Has anyone else had problems with the Tekin RS receiver wire not reaching? I just purchased one used and it barely reaches to the receiver but its really tight.

Your receiver wire has been shortened. Very common when used for on-road due to how close the ESC is mounted to the receiver. A new lead can be soldered onto the receiver but requires good soldering skills.

Anyone have pics of rear arms? I think I might have something wrong back there... I would post up a picture but it's to late..
Once I figure out the arms... I should be able to finish that day..
(well after I go buy some e-clips)[Where did that stupid bag go?]
Edit:
NM I figure it out thank you though

That's what I was afraid of. My soldering skills are not great. I guess I'll be using an extension.

When a cup pops off it it for one of two reasons , it is either worn out or you crashed causing it to pop off .
These trucks are not like SCTs that you can get away with crashing and bashing into everything . If the cup didn't pop you more likely would be replacing a hub , arm , and etc .

turnbuckle sizes
Hey guys,
What size turnbuckles does the truck have, out getting a wrench and forgot to check what size. I have a 4mm and 5mm option, or a 3.5mm and 4mm.
Thanks

I'm about 1/3 of the way through my build. Really easy kit to build. Got the front and rear suspensions complete. Need to do the tranny and shocks and I'll have a roller.
Couple questions:
Anyone have some sticking in the steering rack? I had to scrape and sand a bit to get it to move freely.
Diss appointed by the turnbuckles - seem like chrome plated lot metal? Look and feel cheap. But I guess they'll do the job until I replace with Lunsford.
Other than that - solid kit, very nice.

Is everyone running the rack dry? I would believe so since it seems like a whole can of issues would occur with dirt build up.

Ball cups are fine. If you hit a pipe they are supposed to pop off. You eff'ed up hitting the pipe. Hard landings, off kilter could pop one off also. Again your error. I had one pop off last weekend, hitting a pipe. I tried to pop it back on by handm, but i was too weak, used a plier and it didnt pop off again that day. Of course I corrected my mistake and no more pop offs...lol.
Any ball cup will pop off within a collision, if their is excessive failure, get new cups. Energy has to transfer somewhere, I rather have a popped cup than a bent turnbuckle, or broken bulkhead.
I hit a pipe with my buggy and tore my front camber block, does that mean the block is weak? I did however replace with the AL version but, didnt really need to.
Hard landings and pipes do cause stress, something has to give.
Also, I have ran where my steering rack did stick when ran dry. I dropped some drops of shock oil to free it up. A little dirt did accumilate but nothing for me to ve concerned about. I did had to bevel the AL rack to keep it from digging into the slide. I think the angle of the servo was to high pushing it into the slide instead. So for me oil and a file helped keep my steering rack moving freely.
