I have a carpet track 5 mins from my house. All winter we have had more offroad entries then onroad. There pretty good about putting extra carpet down were needed.

It is not true that a cap is only for 1/12th scale. It is for any four cell(nimh) application.

Not saying he needs one, because he shouldnt. Just stating a fact.

A local guys makes them. there pretty easy to make. we use to use 1/10 pan car rear dounts. Cut a tire so you get a front and rear out of one. Grind the inner bead leadge off of the rim but leave the outside one. some contact cement to hold the foam to the rim and then true them up.

Back in the day we used green dot rears. Only $10 to reshoe the car but they only lasted 2 race days. These are some 35 shore 1/8th scale foams. They last almost all season.

Edit: heres a vid of some buggy action at the track I race at. I was in 13.5 truck for this race.

Anyone running the LiPo lite setups notice a ton of bump steer through the suspension range? What is the intent/result of such a setup? Thanks!

For what it's worth, you could score a used T4 in good shape for the cost of buying all the new parts separately to convert.

Not a complete list, but you need the following at the very least:
Chassis $25
Set of arms $13
CVD bones $12
Camber/steeringlinks $10
front and rear towers $13
Front and rear shocks $50
front body mounts $3
Battery strap $5
Body $20

Thats over $150 bucks and you can get a complete used T4 roller for less than that.
