Just running a search on Tower Hobbies got a lot of hits from various manufacturers:

Now you can space your Castle motor and not have to ream out the gear cover...

Hmm havent heard of this one, kinda similar to putting a little bit of droop spacers under the pistons? But i guess it would change the shock angle slightly.

I everyone should read this link to understand who Ol'Ron is and how him and his track fits in the history of Offroad R/C.
Ron and Linda are among the best track owners and operators.

I am buying a Factory Team T4 kit and would like some advice. I have about $20 to spend to get my purchase up to $250 so I can utilize a "$25 off" coupon.
Any thoughts on some relatively cheap additions that are "must have" for a T4?
I'm getting into the hobby again after a number of years, so have some old pinion gears, but maybe I should buy some new ones. Any ideas, using the stock spur gear, on a starting point for a pinion gear? Novak 17.5 motor, relatively small track.
Is the shock oil and springs included in the FT kit good for a starting point, or should I immediately switch those out?
Thanks for any ideas!

I think we need to support the local track. I myself have been guilty of buying online but i still by alot of my things at the track even though i could save more in the long run.
Tracks are few and far between.

Oooook, let's say I was buying $20 worth of items from a local track. What would you recommend?
I will be supporting my local track via practice and racing fees. I understand what you're saying, but I have to imagine I'm probably not the only one who is buying a vehicle online.
