swiched over my offroads cars this weekend to team powers from lrp/trinity setups and all i can say is DAMN! i love the size and ease of adjusments on the esc's. the fact they come with the program card and not sold as an optional part is cool also. oh yeah and the motors.....yeah, wicked fast the design really does help keep them cooler than you would think. i have the 13.5 in the sc10 with the 13mm rotor keeping up with guys that ran 8.5's and lower. really, how can you go wrong withg team powers products? i had lrp sxx comps and trinity duo 3's (murfdoggs before them) and now team powers and not regretting it at all. if y ou are looking for some inexspensive electronics to keep up with the big boys, team powers has what you need. also, if in the market for some metric tools, dont hesitate to try theirs. very light weight and seem to fit well. now only if they made a .05 size, i would really be happy

Congratulations to Matt Morris for his TQ and win in 2wd mod buggy and TQ in 2wd SC.
Was not able to run in the SC main due to broken shock.

well, lookie what the mailman brought me
Initial impressions are this thing is fast and smoooooth. I have to get to the track tomorrow to really see what's up, but up and down the street I am VERY impressed. These aren't cheap leopard motors or anything of the rebadged sort. Everything just looks and feels QUALITY. The tabs even soldered up quite easily. The same gearing winding my LRP up to 170 or so, and the team powers barely hit 115!!!

They are based in Hong Kong. Both the early Spurt motors and the new Plutonium motors are designed and built by the owner of Team Powers. You will not see anyone else with this design. The motors are designed to work with their unique cooling system that exhausts the heat out of the motor instead of blowing cool are on the motor. Their ESC is also designed by Team Powers however, the assembly is contracted out. Andy, the owner of Team Powers is an electrical engineer and does all of the design work himself on both the motors and ESC’s. The batteries are made by one of the three large lipo manufactures in China just like every other lipo on the market.
Farming out the production is normal...the key is the design and quality of production, something you cannot maintain if you only resell OEM products.
Like you said, the batteries are all made by a few companies.

OK, I did.
Report:
It's fast. Very, very fast. This thing is clearing the big quad at my track that normally only 4wd's were clearing and a few 2wd's. I didn't have the power before with my viper, and if I timed it right and got the run up, I could pop it about half the time with the LRP. With the team powers 13.5, it's cake. No timing on the esc, and none on the can. I don't understand it, and don't want to Runs cool and smooth at 145 degrees with 25/78 gearing. I do have the tuning rotor in there, but still..
The other thing that REALLY impressed me is the "feel". It's hard to quantify or even explain, but I just felt more "connected" to the truck with this motor.
I really can't imagine a better motor.

The Plutonium motors really are awesome. They seem to run cooler than most other motors while putting out the same (or better) performance. However, if you happen to run the motor hot (AKA Overheat) the Plutonium can handle the heat better than others. I know this first hand. I have a friend who I race with that has had his Plutonium motor in the 260-270 degree range on several occasions to the point that you could smell the motor cooking as he came by on the track. He's been torturing this poor motor every week for about a year now and it still runs as good as new. AWESOME motors!

they don't make a 6.5, I wanna put one of these in my 4x4 but want a 5.5 or a 6.5. I looked at the site but only seen down to a 7.5
