Very good stuff. I've been running their motors and batteries for some time now and am very happy with how well they work. :)

lowroad 06-20-2011 03:37 PM

well..what's up with em? how do they run, what do they compare to, DETAILS MAN DETAILS.

Mini-Mod 06-20-2011 04:42 PM

The motors are awesome. The smoothest motor I've driven, but still delivers the power. The batteries are good as well. They give a good amount of punch and last long.

Can't wait to try out that battery  You know what to do when you get some more in!!!:sneaky:

Thats an assumption. They are not by the same source. Promatch has a reputable name for sure. Teams Powers has been on the move lately. They just won the Open Mod class at the REEDY race of champions and a lot of the Amain guys @ the reedy were running Team Powers. The guy who won the Blinky Class @ Reedy was running Team Powers also. Can't deny success.:tire::tire:

I just started running the Plutonium 17.5 motors and 6200 batteries in my 2wd buggy and short course getting ready for the Roar Offroad Nats. The combo is as quick if not a little better then the other combos I have have tried recently. Other I have tried are Duo series motors and the Novak Ballistic. Off the hook in buggy.

Either way, just keep the assumptions to..... well, yourself.

Let's keep the assumptions to a minimum. Just cause it's $20 cheaper doesn't mean it's better. This thread is to show the public what type of products Team Powers are producing and what they are capable of. Not to down talk something you've never used. Let's keep things positive. ;)

well, those are nice pictures of things  I guess my point is, what's better about THESE things?

Mini-Mod 06-20-2011 09:10 PM

Here's a link to their website of all of their products.

The motors are very reliable. They are made as 3.5 through 17.5. The smoothest motor I've driven. They also make a unique heat sink that uses a fan to suck out the heat through the holes of the motor can.

The batteries are pretty awesome. They give a good amount of punch and have a long life spand on and off the track. I've benn running the first packs I got without problems.

You can email Andy Bird of team powers ([email protected]) if you have any questions.

The star of this show is the motor :D but really like the supporting cast.

The motor is very smooth and seems to really excell on a fast track. I was also using duo/novak motors and this motor is simply faster.

The 6200 battery has performed great in 2wd sc and 4wd sc powering some heavy hi powered rigs. Great punch and runtimes.

The ESC is one of the best kept secrets I have seen. Small and lite weight so it will fit everywhere and easily tunable with the program card.
Not alot of time with the ESC but with the available programming functions (ALOT) you can have a very aggresive or very smooth throttle "feel" just depends on what you like.

Support wise the guys at Team powers are great.
