Default Castle Momba Monster 1/8th Question

I just set up my Castle ESC and it seems that the full reverse has more power than full forward. I even tried using castle link for the set up setting reverse for 25% power and it still is more powerful in reverse.

Any help is appreciated.

Try reversing the throttle on your radio.

You'll need to reverse the radio, and the esc, either with the software, or by swapping any 2 motor wires, then recalibrate.

I think you just swap the 2 outside motor wires, Atleast thats what worked with mine when this happened. Don't think i needed to recalibrate the esc.

If he just reversed 2 of the wires, the vehicle would run in reverse. The esc has to be recalibrated afterward.

I tried changing wires around, changing the settings on the transmitter. No matter what I did when I pulled the throttle back, the motor spun the tires to move the car forward at a lesser rate than when I pushed the throttle forward for reverse.

I think there is an issue with the Castle Link V3.4 computer set up. I found that if I set the reverse setting to 100% and the forward setting to 50%, the buggy runs properly and when I set it to the factory default the forward and reverse power settings were opposite of what the Castle Link were. It might be user error, I will call Castle tomorrow and talk with them.
Anyway, what a difference it was from the first time I took it to the track. The buggy took off and was flying around like I had hope it would.

Thanks for your input.

Called Castle today and got it straightened out. They were very helpful. I never really had it calibrated to begin with because my transmitter throttle mode was reversed. THEN I had to change any two of the motor wires.

Which is exactly what I said
You'll need to reverse the radio, and the esc,
Glad to see it working for you.

Glad you got but.... If you had just calibrated like you are suppose to then you would have not needed to call castle or even post here.
I always study any manual before even attempting to set up any new devices

Pretty sure it was Greg at Castle that told me to match the Red and Black motor wires on outside so they match the power wires and white goes in middle

So the center wire on the motor must also stay in center on the connectors on the esc? What happens if it doesn't?
