Considering this great design
Hi,
I´m looking for a new kit. Just thinking on 2 of the tops: the Serpent 811e and the XRAY 808e. I like more the serpent but would like to know, apart from the battery layout and chassis, main advantages of the serpent over the XRAY. Also the weak points. My racing level is so low i´d use it on 3S LOL Thank you |
i have a new base set up.
dont you dare ask me to posted it tonight i been up 26 something hours i do tmo lol. also one thing i have notice is you need to clear your head when you sit this car on the track it drives like noting you ever driven. so take your time get used to it and you be money the cars a game changer and it was put on disply this weekend with the closing speed and conor speed it carrys |
been testing over the last few weeks and two stage pistons are now available for the 811!! the team guys have settled on 27.5/25 or 25/22.5. The pistons are 8 hole 1.3mm compression and 1.4mm rebound
http://rcshox.com/shoxshop/catalog/p...b51328e9ffb5d7 not that this car needs it but jumping is increased as well as agility, one the biggest difference we all noticed was its ability to stabilize after landings and of course "floating" over the rough stuff! more info here:http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...-services.html |

Saying that you run 3s has nothing to do with race level. It's about the total kv. You can have a 3s outrun a 5s, depending your kv of your motor. If you do not understand this, please inquire. We will be more than happy to explain and help. |

thanks jared
we ran on a tight indoor clay track with a few 180s the car just felt good. set up diffs 5/5/3 shocks front 8 hole 1.4 pistons blue springs 45 wt losi oil location 3/b rear 10 hole 5/55 5/56 yellow spring 35wt losi oil 5/b front insert 0/0 10 deg castor blocks number 3 rack sway bars front 2.5 one mm of slop in the ball at the bottom i think a 2.3 would been better at the end of the stright but it made the car feel like dumped over to hard ever where eles so we left alone 2.3 rear bar smooth the car out i thought rear inserts 6 toe side 5 up squate side rear link 2/b with the c link i felt my car was to looked into the track for me front link 2/b camber 1.5 all around ride height 27mm all around wheel base take all 3 shims out take the two small ones put them on the back side the hub big one front of it. i hope you guys can try this and it help you with your cars |
