Default batteries?

Help a noob out, what batteries are people using/going to use, with this buggy? I want to get the 4mm banana style batteries since it seems like that's what the tray was designed for but which 2s types would be smart to look at buying?

Since thunder power does not make a battery with a bullet connector I'm going to give there high velocity packs a try. I have been hearing good things about them. Thy typical style with deans connectors are just not happy with the door system on this car.

Here's a link to their thread.

Guys these pack fit perfect in the trays currently running these almost done with my build will post some pictures. If you want quality and performance these are the packs very reasonable price also. Packs are backing up with warranty all packs are tested prior insuring quality. PM for details.

I just pm'd him for details. I think I'm going to go off your guys rec and order a pair of these. Anything else I'll need besides the kit, esc,& motor? Also bigjayjay1 what motor are you planning on running in the serpent? I will be running on indoor clay, med size track.

If rear exit traction is needed instead of softer bars you can try the long rear camber link. The you have the advantage of the swaybar but traction of the longer link.

Current setup: 2 6000 60 C / RX8 / 2050 Buggy for indoor you should go with a lower KV motor pending on track also plan to purchase a lower KV since these packs have a lot of kick

How are you guys charging these packs? 2s or 4s? Is there a special connector for doing two bullet type packs together? I was thinking about making one. Thanks

You need everything in between the front and rear transmission including the front and rear center drive shafts, chassis braces, body. Also the Ebuggy has all the updated bearing couplers, hubs, diff gears etc. It would not be cost effective, I think it would be better off selling your nitro buggy and getting a Ebuggy then you would have a totally new car!
