Well for starters, how was your car compared to his?

My car feels really good, the driver however was not as good . His car looks alot like all the drawings I've seen, very compact and looks very nimble, he's running the the front aluminum tower with the rear being cf. I haven't noticed him driving alot, I do know he had a speedo acting up and switched it out for a new one, and was glueing tires and tuning shocks today. I'll get some video tomorrow as I'm sure he will be with the rest of the fast guys (Tebo, Maifield, Cavaleri, King, Robbers etc) tomorrow in the actual qualifying heats.

Trying to make the car as good as possible before release. I know they made some last minute changes.

This buggy or the X-ray is in my list for consideration for next season.
The nitro Serpents at the local track are very nice.

Since Serpent has posted the Sport 811's, they have taken off the 811-Te. What happened

I dont think the market for E-truggy is very strong. I love them and have 2 but I either have to run with nitro truggy or hope and pray enough show up wich is not very often. The track I used to use the most just closed and we could on any given day have 5-10 e truggys or we could run with e buggy. but the other tracks dont have that much turn out but thats in Georgia I dont know how other regions are.

I am still hearing end of sept so 1 week to ship andnget them ready to sell at amain sounds reasonable

Must be getting close!

After scanning the directions I noticed that the kingpins and lower shock mounts are secured with set screws.

Is that different than then the 811 Cobra?

jpas 09-18-2011 03:50 PM

Why such a poor result at the ROAR 1/8 buggy nationals? Was it the level of competitive drivers as opposed to the chassis?

todb 09-18-2011 04:18 PM

Not sure, just different for me. I am used to tenth scale and I had not seen it before. It is cool imo.
