I can give you some build tips when the time comes that will make your life a lot easier down the road.

I'm getting the ebuggy as well.

But honestly, I have two parts boxes full of parts and I haven't really used anything. Someone plowed into me and messed up my wing mount and I finally wore out a diff. That's about it. lol

I just change bearings regularly (before every major race).

I'm not an electric guy, but I've seen the advantage people have that run multiple classes when you are at a big race. I'll be getting this (as opposed to a nitro truggy) since it should handle similarly to the nitro version. And it looks dead sexay!

This may have been asked before, I have been looking at the pics of the Serpent E buggy and I am a little worried about ESC space. I currently run a Hobbywing Xerun 80A esc, the foot print of this speedo is a bit bigger than the Tekin, which looks like it only just fits in the chassis.

Who else has this concern?

I know many will say just buy a Tekin, but with a new ESC and the price of this car, I dont think both are in the budget.

You will be fine, the hobbywing measures in at 58L x 46.5W x35H, and the Tekin is 38.1L x 55.88W x 35.5H

Any roar approved 2s pack will be a safe bet I would say. It does look easily modded if someone wanted to go 6s with 2 3s packs. Or just make sure the 3s packs are within dimensions of roar specs.

No reason to limit yourself to hard case lipos. I plan on using two Hyerion 3S 3300 mAh lipos to run 6S. The Hyperion soft case lipos are smaller in dimensions than a roar approved 2S hardcase lipo. BTW, I've been running escale for over 4 years and have never used a hard case lipo and have never had a problem.

I meant any pack that is the same dimensions or less than a roar pack.

The car Billy showed us 2 weeks ago at the Regionals in Fort Lauderdale looked pretty damn production finished to me. It shouldn't be long now.
