Thanks so much for the reassurance ;)

One more question, i cant seem to get the 2000Kv system readily, i can see the 2250Kv and 1800Kv, just out of the sweet spot i think, but should i go with the 2250kv?

Im from the UK.

I am using a tekin 1900 kv with 16/46 and thats perfect. Lot of power!
I would take a 1800 kv with 17T

Whats the internal ratio of the car?

Currently i own a DEX410R and its setup for ratio of 8.60 (3300KV 2s) and i find it a tad slow tbh. Could be because i also drive a Xray T2 008 which has ratio 5.8 iirc (7000Kv 2S).

You sure 1800Kv will be enough? If i get 2250Kv could i not use a smaller Pinion to slow it up if need be or would i create too much heat?

Also any way to protect the bottom of the car?

I found the dimensions here:
xerun 150a 58mm(L) x 46.5mm(W) x 35mm(H)
xerun 80a 58(L) x 46.5(W) x35(H)
tekin rx8 38.1(L) x 55.88(W) x 35.5(H)

So how can the 150A not fit and the 80A fit if they are the same size? Anyone know for sure?

I cant really afford the Tekin system =(

I think the 150a has mounting tabs on each side. Just have to grind them off.

I managed to fit the 150A xerun without problems..it is just a little tight fit, no mods needed.

Diffs are 44T/13T = 3.38

So it's like the Mugen Eco.

How do you like it with the option 2.

puttekula 05-08-2012 01:22 PM

Quite "crowdy" in there. Glad I vent for the mod.....;)

option 2 rack is all I ran on the car. It helps settle the car down some
