Well, I got mine today from the big brown truck. Started sorting everything out. Then building. Pulled the diffs apart to check the fluid level as it had been mentioned of low levels of fluid. Mine was low too. Everything was smooth as could be until I got to the outer rear hinge pins. One has threads and the other is smooth as silk. (no threads cut) just wanted to share for QC purposes.

going to be building my truck tonight with the ds1015 servo and castle 3800kv motor and mmp. Testing will go down tomorrow at outback raceway in chico. Ill give some feedback asap since this seems to be the popular choices on electronics.

I don't think you'll be disappointed:nod: Don't forget to report back which pinion(s) you use, a few of us are looking for that info.

which servo will come with a long enough wire to go into the receiver box. I've learned the hardway not to have my receiver protected from the elements.

I dont know why but i'm not a fan of running an extension wire, i feel i'll lose voltage lol. I want to run that xp1015 servo.

I'm willing to spend up to 100 bananas. I want something with at least 200 in oz and pretty fast.

The 60K was definitely not a typo. I have actually been running 60K for the past couple weeks in my truck and have been extremely happy with it.

The thick front diff fluid mellows out the truck quite a bit on high speed sweeping turns as well as allows you to be able to run a "bar" type tire in the front, such as Suburbs, Barcodes, etc. With the 10K front diff oil, the Suburbs would be extremely fast through the infield but way too aggressive in sweepers. So much that if you turned the wheel just a bit too far that the truck would want to spin out or traction roll. After I changed the fluid I could drive the truck harder into the sweepers without fear of it rolling or spinning, and then to make up the steering in the infield I switched to the more aggressive Suburb tire instead of Holeshots.

Over all I think it was a great change and I am super happy with how my truck handled in qualifying as well as even the main event!

The "ultimate" servo would be Hitec 7940TH straight w/ 2S lipo through it :).

Honestly, having had extensions up to 6 ft on some of my projects in the past, 1 measly extension won't change much.

HELP!!

For anyone thats built their kit yet was the part (asc91004) the inner body mount that attached to the top part where you install the servo horn in BAG A? I can't freaking find it and I searched through the other bags (didn't open them just looked through) So for those that have built it, was that part in another bag?
