anyone? I have read quite a bit here in the last two days, I have seen the one with the traxxas rocker arm mounted along the center line but still can't find the post on the longer carbon tube one. I would like to order the stuff all together and don't want to order too much. I think it was 1/4" but I would appreciate someone to confirm or correct what I think I remember.

Thanks in advance.

I believe it was .25 cf tube.

Center top and out side on all shock locations yellow front spring on tack star oring in the front 32.5 he sway bar all around rear blue spring 27.5 two turns out shock end all emulsion style rear one xring stock. Stock slipper works great locked down dual hd pads with vented slipper. Rear suburb 2.0 stock front tire. And wow at Ocrc the best track in the west coast of the northern hemisphere this thing is dialed oh and tekin 5.5 teking rx8 geared 58 16. Rear: 27.5 shocks (mix), 2 stage piston, blue springs, 5k diff, 2.0 swaybar, suburbs mc, rcshox slipper pads

RX8/Tekin Pro4 4000kv motor geared at 15/60

thanks mac. You are the clutch basket guy right? my 1410 seems to be light on the slipper thus far.
May get the basket for the fun of it.

I am really surprised to see people going to the yellow springs. I bought white springs all around and am running 35wt in the front and I believe 25 in the rear.

works well on my track. medium grip clay indoor bumpy tight track.

3-4 turns out on rear shock ends and 5mm shim on front inner upper control arms. 1 degree camber all around. Double Dee's in front and rebars on rear.
castle 3800/mmp 13/62 and a 3300 45-90C nanotech battery in stock location. about 5-6 oz lead all over chassis.

Yeah. I'm running whites and still bouncing a little too much. Some old schoolers have been telling me to put 35 rear, 30 Front and whatnot. Which is contrary to what anyone would say so I thought. Any thoughts?

Very tight track with a quad ( I can't make the quad)

Prize.

I got my MMP together with a 7700kv I used to run on the Lazer ZX5 for somewhere around $170 new. Later on sold the motor in $70 and got a new 1410 in $65. So for $165 I got a very very decent combo.

All the alternatives I browsed were the LRP SXX, which was $229 alone without a motor, and the RX8+SC4X, which was well above twice the MMP+1410 combo.

For me, it was a no brainer.

Noticed that with spur gear off (doing the push the car to see if its free rolling test in a straight line), the belt will gradually become tense on the upper portion as the car rolls then it'll "decouple" relax again. Tense>relax...repeat. Is this normal?

Are you running a 19 pully in the front? That will cause extra tension on the belt.

cool, Ill need to check. Believe I'm running the option where it makes the front turn slower than the rear.

Had a little trouble with what you are talking about, make sure front and rear pully tensioner are on the same setting, and not to tight. If the belt is overtightened, then it tends to jump the pully. Also check and make sure that pully on rear has not rattled loose.

Whites are way too soft and the chassis will hit the face of the jump and scrub off speed.
Try yellow in back inside hole on top and inside on arm. Run yellow fronts too. At the sc showdown in Dallas it required skill to not overshoot the doubles and end in the middle of the sweeper.

This is my setup and it's come along way from box stock to becoming something that is easy and smooth to drive hard. I drive both indoor clay and outdoor loamy dirt and with this base setup i can swap tires and be comfortable to drive a race pace. https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&p...jGAjYxhu&hl=en

I've been mindful of that. My pan is clean. I'm not slapping on takeoff or landing (other than a shitty landing. ;) ) I can't make the quad because I can't get straightened out soon enough to slam the throttle over it. I take it as two doubles and it works well.

My concern is the Truck isn't settling as fast as I'd like it too. It's bouncy down the straight and around these tight corners it's not settling down to get into the next corner.
