I have been racing a Tekno SCT410 for several months and it has been a great performer. I have been working on a SC10 4x4 Lite project recently and I decided to race it this last weekend. I am really liking how the SC10 4x4 handles and I am much smoother running the Lite than my more powerful Tekno. The lighter weight allows me to run less motor (more controllable) and because of less mass it accelerates/brakes faster and has much quicker handling (almost like a 2wd buggy). Last weekend I turned the fastest lap times ever on the current layout. For me, on a smaller indoor track the SC10 4x4 Lite is very competitive.

Yes, and what motor are you running in it now?

thanks

did you find what you need? There is an image of it posted on the rc short course .com forum. Can't get there right now myself but it is there.

My truck always wants to jump nose high...

Will using a stiffer spring on the rear (ie. blue fronts on the rear) help keep the nose down?

Hopefully i can get some objective opinions.....no i dont want an scte 2.0 but really am considering the factory team sc10 4x4. I have the factory team sc10.2 now and like it...i m also more partial to team associated but...... The tekno sct410 is really catching my eye....are the sc10 4x4's competitive with these trucks? Specifically indoor clay? Buyers remorse sucks.... My racing buddies are going losi but i cant do that.

Thanks, I got it down to 5lbs 4.2oz ready to run. Because it is so light now I think I may swap out the MMP for a Rx8. I was using the MMP because it is lighter than the Rx8, but I find the Rx8 to be smoother. So now that the truck is so light I can go with the Rx8 which should bring the weight up to the ROAR minimum.

Yes it is a Tekin Pro4 4000kv motor. Perfect for my super lite truck. I found the 4600kv Pro4 to be uncontrollable in such a light truck.
