Thats not a very small motor. Belt okay and all that? Gear mesh correct? (I'm not saying you don't know what your doing but its very easy to forget stuff) |

thats it i think, but i think its to loose... i just checked both trannies with out the belt attached and they spin real free. i looked at the belt and it rubs the guide. all along the bottom of the guide and it droops down on the top in some parts.
im running the 19t pulley in the front with the settins at 3-2 in front and just about a 1 in the rear. |

Good info here guys
|
wild cat i will tell you how i got to my setup it all starts in the street with the shit stock tires if you get it to work on the street first then it is only small adjustment to get it working on the track but what you described earlier is what My would do be for as soon as you let off the gas it swop's ends this is to things one the rear is unloading and all the weight is going to the front wheels this happens if the springs are to soft it has nothing to do with roll you my wont to use the out side hole on the arms if that fixes the problem but you lose the exit control chang the sway bar to softer

Hey peeps, thought this might be the best place to ask.. Just got my new SC10 4x4 RTR out of the box.. I'm liking it so far however the shocks are way to stiff.. it'll bounce around just driving it on the front yard, yes I'm aware this is setup for smooth surface racing however I'm going to be using this mainly as a basher so I was wondering what shock oil you guys would recommend putting in it? 20-30wt?
Cheers, Luis im using 32 in the front and 27.5 in the rear but i just race. i guess it all depends on what you want to do as far as bashing, big air your gonna need a thicker oil to help dampen the truck on landings. if it bounces to much on the small bumps go to a thinner oil. |

I started using the overdrive pulley and noticed this behavior, so I adjusted my driving just a tiny bit.
Brake hard for corner entry, before turning in too much Feather the throttle early to mid corner Hammer down out of the corner! Not saying these are the best answers, but it's something easy enough to try! No new equipment necessary. I just punch it .... |
