Then you want the full top deck, it will make the center super stiff side to side.

How much does your SC10 4x4 weigh after added lead balance?

How much does your "dialed in" SC10 4x4 weigh?

After adding lead weight to mine to get it balanced left to right, and about 45-48% front vs. 55-52% back, it's going over 6 pounds.

What total weights work well for you?

Mine ended up at 6lbs 6 oz. ready to hit the track, it was not a FT.

I got to take mine to the track last night for some TNT. A word of advice for fellow noob's, street tires on a loose dusty dry track do not work! I forgot to take my good tires and had to suffer through dukes of hazard car sliding at every single corner and on some straights! When I could get it to go straight for a jump approach it flew very well! The truck is a blast to drive and handled very good considering the conditions!

Thanks for the feedback on weight. Mine also, is not FT. I presume you like the way it handles?

Right now mine is at 5lbs 11oz RTR. I don't win any bumping contest with the Losi's

Evil Genius jr. 05-12-2012 09:06 AM

Mines like 6 10 lol. I losi the losis if I have to.

SOuthernFRIED 05-12-2012 09:16 AM

Mines pretty beefy too! 6.6 lbs w the Exotek! That's rtr weight including body and batt..

Wild Cherry 05-12-2012 09:24 AM

99.2 oz with body on ..

Less weight than that ?

I just go slower and the Losi can keep up with then ....:D

Heading out to the track today, gonna test out some new stuff and setup.........

SCTDan 05-12-2012 09:38 AM

Mine rolls at 6.9 lbs. 5oz of that is the front steel skid plate. I still turn inside of the Losi's but don't get pushed around by them. I run a Tenshock 550 motor and full carbon plate in the chassis which adds the extra few oz. Truck is planted, smooth and easy to drive. The few guys I've let drive it feel it handles like a cross between a losi and a conventional sc10 4x4. I just need to get my skills up to speed.

What are you looking for. I've posted a few. If you do an advanced search with my name you may find what you want. If not I'll post what you want.

Evil Genius jr. 05-12-2012 10:06 AM

This carbon plate you speak of.
