lipos can be a funny thing. Loved my RFI lipos and they were on 4000mah 25C rated but were excellent. lots of power and cheap at the time.
Got all IPs for race packs so will see how it goes, got 1 gens ace 50C 5000mah for practice. |
Has anyone tried the xxx-sct rear wheel or the DE version? Should be a tad wider than stock. Sounds like it would be a good cheater wheel for a little extra width.

Hey again guys, im having a bit of troubles still with the trucks setup. Now i run on mostly dusty 1/8th tracks, and currently my setup is:
30 weight in the front-no rebound-bladders 25 weight rear- no rebound- bladders over drive in the front stock ride height, but lowered in the back to make equal front to back. 5mm washers under the front ballstuds And im running m2 calibers all the way around. Now the truck is quite good, but still fairly loose in the rear. On long sweeping corners it wants to drift out, and sometimes on the tight corners too, if i get too carried away with the throttle. Anyways i was just wondering if this can be fixed or helped any further? It just seems like the truck has way too much give in the back. |

So going through one set of my shocks and found that the bladders are so stiff that I can fold them in half and they stay that way. I am not sure why I didn't notice it before when I changed the fluid. Looks like emulsion style for me.

I finally got my truck finished today... wow this thing is quiet. I thought it might be a little loud at first, but boy I was amazed when I gave it a little throttle :D I will race it at the 2nd Rd. of our Points Series this Saturday for the first time. I'll make sure to let you guys know how it goes. I have added the TiNi ballstuds, lunsford turnbuckles, and some blue hardware for a little factory bling :D

Wheels
Thanks for the input guys, I will probably order the stock factory wheels when I go to order my tires. My truck was suppose to have arrived today, but didn't. So I will give it another day and then call the supplier. I had a long weekend to build and test and no truck kit. With all the reading and re-reading of this thread and the kit manual I should be able to build it in my sleep. This is worst than waiting for Christmas to come or running an weekend long special event. I will go take some more blood pressure medicine to make sure that I make it to when the truck comes.

Any ideas on how to build the shocks emulsion style, both bladders on the front shock blew out during A main. Im pretty sure I built them right bladder style but ive never had bladder style shocks before. Not really happy with these shocks ive never had shocks leak and blow out like this before. Thanks for any ideas and help.
