Btw: I heard 4x4 is not doing so hot. I'll be down there as much as possible to help with some competition. (or in other words, just another guy to pass)

There is always a class but some guys cant race on the weekend and some can't during the week so it is what it is. I am not racing again until the 25th.

Unless I get a V2 diff or a front slipper to give me a reason to go test and run with. :sneaky:

Do I have a first? :o

CoyoteSlash 02-13-2012 12:36 AM

Up until this week. I hadn't broke a single thing since release either.

Last 7 days:
Front Bumper
Rear Body Post Bracket
Servo Saver
Tierod threaded insert (stripped out: AE91021)

What the hell.

That's called racing. :)

The "worth mentioning" of me breaking stuff was the amount in one week in relation to the last 9 months of break-free abusive running. :p

I think my Sc10 finally said "Okay Shaun... I've held on long enough through what you call "racing"..." and boom.

Haven't broken one of those yet - although I went through a few dogbones and couple shock shafts before I realized I was dealing with a set of of those AE stock spaghetti arms. Anyway, just curious if you put some black grease in your servo saver when you assembled the truck? I know I did, but when I disassembled it recently you'd think I hadn't. Maybe yours got gritted up or dried out?

I did 9 months ago.

Because i dont hold anything back good or bad from you guys and this can go either way! After driving my truck for close to a year now and NEVER spitted out an idler gear, yesterday it finally happened! which is a testament to the adjustability of the centerdif. And by that i mean that I had it setup for basically what amounts to full lock up under acceleration (not locked up like a slipper but really close). Good news is that it can be adjusted down half of where i had it and even less if needed or none at all. This is one of the reasons i am not going to release this until i have thoroughly tested and know the limitations and what not to do. In general the public goes to the extreme so i have to get to the point of failure and then back off, these things take time but rest assured that when it is finally released it will be worth the wait with plenty of R+D. Once i get a grip (get it grip:lol:) on it Sym will test for me as well as a few others that are really good on giving me feedback, once it meets their approval i will begin production. Some of the parts i have to out source so it will take more time to get ready but this thing will simply be incredible!
THESE ARE NOWHERE NEAR READY FOR PRODUCTION AND ARE ONLY IN TESTING PHASES, REALISTICALLY PROBABLY A MONTH AWAY AT BEST.THERE IS ONLY ONE AND HALF IN EXISTENCE RIGHT NOW SYM HAS THE OTHER HALF (THRUST ASSEMBLY).

Those of you that are sticklers for tuning will love it there will be literally 20 different ways you can run it!

Out of curiosity how many of you are interested in a bronze idler gear?If there is enough demand (which i suspect there will be) I can have some made.

Anyone have any issues with the front CVA pin retainer wearing to the point that it backs off just enough for the pin to fall out? Had this happen to me this weekend before my 2nd qualifier. No amount of shimming would solve it, only a brand new retainer stopped the problem. Looking at the old one I can't tell where it wore out.

Do you think we will need the Bronze Idler gear once we have your adjustable Cetre diff Top shaft?
