Hey Jeff, that are you looking to spend on a servo? I have a few laying around I don't use... a Hitec 965MG and Savox 1257TG. :tire:
. I can trade you a CC 4600 kv motor for it, it's n.i.b. |
regarding your leaking shocks question...
All four of mine were leaking badly - but not from the top as expected. I needed to tighten the grey plastic nut into the blue metal section. You need to use the two wacky wing nut looking wrenches that they supply.
Mine needed some torque on them, did not turn a lot, but enough to tighten them down and keep them from leaking. |

DONT SLEEP ON THIS ONE GUYS!
Orion experience 2 pro 3750 kv motor and esc combo. clearanced at stomer hobbies for $99.99. Fantastic in my ae 4x4 indoors and out and probably best combo i have used in my kyosho scr. Insane speeds, butter smooth. You would never guess its not sensored. Nobody at the track that has driven either truck could tell.

So who is running a 540? Anyone? Thinking of giving it a go on a tight track here...:tire:

I have good luck with mine so far. 8.5 does all the big jumps fine. Feels a touch slower than my 4.5 550 that was in a jammin.

If you're using the receiver box, you'll need 24cm of servo wire if you don't want to use an extension. The Savox 1267 has 20cm, the 1256 and 1258 have 25cm... Not sure on other brands.

I ran my Orion 8.5 once and it came out right after. Not enough motor for my local high bight track. |
Good point made^^^ I'm running on a low bite track. 10.5 in 2wd buggy is more than enough.

Dude, are you travelling back in time or something? CORR has been dead for a long time now... Now it's TORC or LOORRS...

The orion system i just posted about is a 540 can and i was way faster on the indoor tracks with it and will def have plenty of power for outdoors. |
so the 1257 will require an extension?
sorry this is for Saladfork. |
