Yes, the holes for the mounting screws are the same distance apart and the Tekno chassis is flat, no turned up edges. The Tekno mudguards are pretty much a straight up design. They don't bow out to the side much.[/QUOTE]
Thanks kufman. good to know, will have to pick up a set.

Setup changes based on new chassis
For those who are successfully racing this setup- can you share your info.
Springs/shock oil, wheelbase position , diff oil etc.
Naturally the lengthened chassis will create more on power steering in addition to the improved chassis layout(more forward weight).
The only things I can think about from the start would be to increase front shock oil to 40w (1.3x8 pistons) and 35 in the rear.
Lower front diff oil to 7k with 3k in the rear. Thinking about the rear, maybe soften up to black springs with a thicker 2.8 sway bar.
First time at the track this weekend with this chassis, now if I can get new arms and towers (just like everyone else wants).
Thanks for any feedback.

I just got my V4 together. I am not a fan at all of how close the esc sits to the pinion gear. I am going to fabricate a ESC mount that sits where the brake servo would go and mount my esc there. Other than that I like the slimmer profile of the car. I have a Proline Slipstream body on the way. I have always liked that body and from what I have seen its a good fit.
Here are a couple pictures of the rig. Ill post up pictures of the esc mount later this evening.
