Wowzer... tim bump chassis, w/ long brace and I finally snagged the ape battery tray; with this chassis already adjusting the battery position and putting the APE tray in the most forward postion my truck was flipping dialed tonight. Normal races are 23's laps, a really good race is 24 in our mains.. (trust me they are fast) and until I was taken out by lap traffic a couple times I was on pace for a solid 25 laps!! That is retard fast, guy said it looked like I had a slot car!! LOL Don't know if it was the more reward position or the slightly lower cog but combined, I like it

Love my dialed 1.0 just a little more now.. heh

Heres my SCTE mostly stock but with lighten outdrives Center and Rear and the front later on. Rear Carbon tower, going to but bigger holes in the battery tray and the mud flaps are cut off. Blue front springs, Meduim Black springs and somehow the stock body is holding up indoors lol.

More upgrades to come soon

Ok so after converting my shock to emulsion, oil is leaking out of the bleeder hole. I purchase TLR334000 orings and they look very thin and small for the cap. Anyways im sure its the way its supposed to be. My question is, do i put 2 orings per shock or just one?

Nice socks. You should trim those motor wires down some. That adds weight. Clean up your servo wire too Seeing you drilled your battery tray, trying to shed some ounces, kinda defeats the purpose if you have 3.lbs of wire.

Shoot i did cut down a lot of the wire from the ESC to motor but yea i could cut some more off. The truck does feel lighter than it was Stock form with the mud flaps cut off and more holes into the battery tray and the Rear Carbon tower.

Whats wrong with the servo wires i cant fix that external BEC location/wires thats the only choice i have if thats what you mean ?

Ive been running this setup for about 5 months now.I love it.Just a fraction of how good the 2.0 will feel. Its amazing how much better moving the battery tray back makes it.

Are your caps the aluminjm ones with the bleeder screw or the aluminum ones that have the small hole on the side of the cap?
The ones with the small hole can only be built emulsion style with the diaphrams cut or the thicker cap seals that go up inside the cap. The tlr option thin orings that fit on the shock body only work with the bleeder caps. You use one per shock and it fits at the bottom of the threads of the shock body.

Wait the Alum shock caps with the holes in them can only be built Emulsion style ? I been using the shock cap bladders .

I have the regular Alum shock caps with out the bleeder screws.

I want to run something like the Road Rage, but I am trying to decide between 2.8 or 2.2. I am figuring the 2.2 is going to look to small so I will probably go with 2.8 Traxxis wheels. My question is which ones to get? I want to slightly tuck the wheels inside the body, I certainly don't want them sticking out. Am I just going to have to go to the LHS and mess around with the wheels they stock? Thanks to anyone that can offer some advice!!!
I'm looking to do the same. Something I could bash around on the street and yard. Post some pics ups. I was thinkin the same bout the wheels.

I see, cool man. Biggest thing you can do, if you all about saving weight, is getting a Aftermarket chassis. Would shave off a lot of weight.
