Yes a good 1/2" too wide even w/ zero offset (doubt any track will let you run this if they find out). Just buy the scte axles, pins, hex's and be done with it.

My goal for this part was to add Bling to that ugly plastic part & eliminate the 2nd part that fit underneath. Also to make sure the part has no negative effect on handling.Pushing, or too stiff side to side etc. This protype is 2 grams heavier than the plastic parts but is thin enough to have simular flex characteristics.
I will get it on track tonight and the next two days and run it thru the paces.
If there is a performance advantage I will be surprised as I am only hoping for no disadvantage as of now.Ano blue or red or green and I think it would be sick!!Again My goal was for Bling only!!!!

Hmm.. my gut says bumpers, but my brain says that while many people seem to complain, I don't know if it's 10k worth! Hmm..

If one of us guesses do we get a freebie?

I'm guessing a split center diff, or something to do with diffs.

Also Ryan what's the weight of your truck? When using the setup sheets on the site I wish the weights of the trucks were listed. If your truck weighs 6lbs rtr and mine is 6.5 or heavier the two will handle completely different with your setup.

10,000 units... hmm...

1) Rear bumper (I'll buy 2 for starters myself)
2) Smart diff's (I'd buy 4; 2scte, 2 810e)
3) New sliding and lightened battery tray (again 2 units; one for my scte, one for my 810-e)
4) Alum front spindle/carrier (hmm typical losi hop up, but not on my list)
5) Front universal drive shaft

Thats about all I can think of.. that would get that kind of attention

That sounds about right...i dont race and if i went to a track it would be on practice night or something! Money is tight to race...Had to give up bowling on a league to support my RC addiction, lol!

As for the parts, i have the hexes and axles...are these the PITA that everyone talks about getting apart and using chainbreaks and whatnot? I hope not cuz i should have just ordered the 4 axle assemblies off ebay with some of my other parts

I am also hoping for a new "smart diff".

So, what is a smart diff?

Have you guys noticed that the stock body posts snap off like crazy? Seems like everytime i have a bad landing these are the first things to go. Does anybody make an aftermarket set for the scte?

It drives the truck for you and tells you what diff oil to run.

I'll take 3 please

Lot to it, but simple way to describe is on power about 7k, off power free wheel. Typically used in front and center diff's.
