A Losi rep said they were one of the only parts that could be interchangeable....but I called them and spoke to another rep and they said no...my local shop said the bell cranks should be the same width apart...we will see soon when the part comes in.

Hopefully this will work...I'm adding aluminum hop ups to my SCTE..
No, I am sorry, but they are definately different.

You have both? Does that plate that connects the bell cranks look the same on both?

I think the part I'm getting will fit...

Default Hobbywing Xerun 150A

Hi guys

I'm about to buy a TEN SCTE ARR and I'm looking around for a brushless combo set. My LHS recommends the following combo from Hobbywing:

Hobbywing (#Combo-M6B) Xerun Sensored 150A ESC + 4274 BL Sensored Motor (2200KV) + LCD Program box Combo Set for 1:8 Car

The batteries I have are some LIPO 4000 2S 30C and 4500 2S 45C.

I know there's a lot of good talk about the Tekin RX8 but that ESC/motor-combo but is way too expensive for me...
I'm not planning to going to races, it's pure riding for fun with some friends.

Does anyone have experience with this Hobbywing-combo? Is it overkill (there's also a 120A ESC?) or not?
The terrain, where I mostly are going to ride, is also a temporary MX-circuit.
On another occasion I'm going to drive on astroturf on a circuit in Geilenkirchen (Germany).

Are there other combo's that are compareble with this one?

I use the Hobbywing Xerun 120amp esc, if you go back a few pages, you'll see I gave some info on them. VERY good systems. The 2200kv motor would need to be run on 3 or 4s lipos. I'd go with a different combo. There's a 120amp Xerun esc combo'd with a 550 can motor, that would probably be a better choice for this truck on 2s. That being said, I'd get the 120amp esc and go with the Tekin Pro4 4600kv motor if you can swing it. If not, go with the esc and the Tenshock 4pole motor. That's an inexpensive way to get a good motor that a lot of people have had success with as well as a good inexpensive esc also. definitely get the program box, it makes your life a lot easier

+1

I have the 120A HW ESC in my SCTE w a Pro4 and it is nasty. Bone stock ARR with these electronics got me into the Amain. Also heard good things about the tenshock motors and their half the price.

What do I need to do to run the 22 low friction o-rings in my SCTE shocks? The 22 o-rings are thinner than the clear stock o-rings that came on my truck, and their ID sees to be a hair larger than the stockers (which is I'm sure what makes them low friction). With the single low friction 0-ring and the single stepped washer, the cartridge cap doesn't compress the o-ring enough to cause it to provide a seal on the shock shaft. Do I need to add a thin shim washer to make up for the difference in o-ring thickness? TIA for any advice...

Is the Hobbywing 120 amp a better choice than the Hobbywing 150 amp esc? At hobbypartz.com the 150 amp is $30 cheaper.
