Thanks for all those comments on the gear dif. It actually made me a little hesitant to go out and buy it. I've done a lot of tinkerin to get my rear end planted, and I'm wondering if a gear dif is just going to have me step backwards a bit. Maybe I ought to just pony up and keep tearing into these ball difs. Hmmm.

There is no number on the spur. I assume it's easier to change the pinion.
Did I get the right motor?

Maybe I need to play with the ESC using HotWire, where timing advance is 80, boost is 20, and turbo is 0. And try different settings on my Spectrum DX3R Pro.

I raced my 22 this past weekend at FZRC. I run a Tekin 10.5 geared 30/76 and have no problems with temps. So you can definately go up a few teeth with a 13.5.

timing advance isnt a factor when in sensored mode. I would up your boost to 40-45. Turbo also shouldnt be needed for off road applications. I always ran a 26 pinion with the stock spur. just changing these 2 things will be a hug difference.

Sc10 gear diff and i believe its also for b4, a tooth bigger and will have a high tooth but after some runs all will be ok. Needs to be shimmed properly.

Do you have to run a shorty pack or will a standard size lipo fit?

Standard packs fit, but only in the rear motor configuration.

Try this setup for your 13.5. Kevin's car was very fast with this setup.

Well, it's started.

I just ordered myself a TLR 22 Racing Buggy kit.

I'm going to slowly buld it and begin racing at my local track. I can't wait.
