The 22 page on the TRL site has some good setups to start with as well.

Start with the Frank Root set up. His car is dialed at WC. He also added all the alum part numbers on his sheet.
The TRL blog has been updated with some great info you might want to read.

Hey guys looking for some setup tips. I need a little more steering. I have attached my setup. I know going to the inside hole on the front lower shock hole will give me more steering, I was just wondering is there anything ealse to change.

Drop a weight in your shock oil first. If you need even more steering after that, drop a spring rate. Oil before springs! This will create slightly more body roll when cornering though.
Ok thanks for the quick responce. Should I drop the oil in the front shocks or the rear? And to what weight?

Well your setup says 27.5 front and 25 rear so first try flipping the weight and putting 25 front and 27.5 rear. Then 25 all if needed. Beyond that, cross that bridge when you get there.

I finally got a chance to put the 22 on the track today at west coast for some practice before this weekends KO race. This thing is awesom! I drives so smooth and responds really well to tunning inputs. I bought it used so I didn't really have time to play with the setup, but I was having good results with just oil changes based on how the car was driving. I am going to throw on the Root white spring setup and see how it goes from there.
Nice work with this buggy TLR! You have a new fan

Loose!!!
Fighting a terrible loose condition at my local track right now; indoor clay. Running shorty battery all the way forward; pad laid sideways, with soft BK bars in the rear and stock rear springs. Changed to zero antisquat, lowered the rear ride height 2mm, and moved the lower shock to the outer position. This helped some but still way to loose. Thinking of changing from 3.0LRC to 4.0 but not sure where to set the camber link???

I know that Frank Roots setup has been killin it at West Coast and OCRC.
Go to that or the most recent Evans setup but I really believe that the battery back will get you the most rear grip faster than the little stuff like antisquat, camber links and toeblocks although they need to be in the ballpark no doubt.

I'm putting my 22 together right now, anyone have an idea where I should start for shock oils? I run on a large indoor med bite clay track. Thanks
