Came on pretty friggin strong here in So. Cal too and that was down the street from Associated's turf.

If your thinking of the '89 ROAR Nats at Freedom Hill, they swept the modified podium as well. Although to be fair they were prototypes for the Proformance Kit that came out later that year, with the longer bigger kick chassis and rear H arms instead of the 5 link. Don't remember what the stock guys were running. Not sure but I think they took the NORRCA or whatever it was nats as well.

They were very strong at the local tracks and multi track series in Ohio at the time. In many cases near total domination.

Yep, 89' nats was won by Jack Johnson. Of note, this race was the one that ushered in 6-cells as a modified standard.

Dustin Evans wins A1 with the new TLR 22 at the Spektrum Race in Wisconsin by 6.5 seconds over Chad Due with Ryan Cavalieri in 3rd. Also had Fast Lap of 16.427....next fastest lap was 16.531 by Ryan Cavalieri.
