Wow, really?
If I'm not mistaken (often wrong but never in doubt ), it was in Michigan, your signature, at the ROAR Offroad Nationals that the Jrx2 won the stock class.
Guess they didn't get too beat up by RC10s and t.ultimas that time.
Came on pretty friggin strong here in So. Cal too and that was down the street from Associated's turf.

They were very strong at the local tracks and multi track series in Ohio at the time. In many cases near total domination.

I also raced with them in Denver and it's true what you said, but now I live in New England, so it might be more difficult to get figured out. I'm glad I still have there phone numbers though!!!!!

Yep, 89' nats was won by Jack Johnson. Of note, this race was the one that ushered in 6-cells as a modified standard.

84' for me, started with a Cox (Kyosho) Turbo Scorpion and moved quickly to an RC10, then the JRX2 came out.
Like a lot of guys I didn't race much through my 20's. Tracks were scarce and girls were abundant.
