Are the threads on the topshaft 2.5mm? Is this why the slipper nut is a 5mm hex instead of a 5.5mm (standard locknut hex size for 3mm threads)? If so I guess I will have to spring for the 5mm Dynamite wrench, it's cool though, I already have the 7mm and the 5.5mm Dynamites and I really like them.

Oh, and just so everyone knows, there is 7 pages worth of parts listed on horizon's site. Just search TLR 22.

So I'm curious as to what the indents on the 22's outdrives are for? Is there a reason why they are there?

Believe its just to cut down on a little weight. The B4.1 outdrives have this as well.

Just FYI, I ordered some ceramic diff balls in sets of 14 from this guy in the FS section. He only has sets of 12 listed, but PM him and you can get sets of 14.

I have no connection to him, just letting people know.

There are, just search HRC TLR at Horizonhobby.com and they will all come up.

Yes, the top shaft set screw is smaller. It needed to be so we could use the sample slipper plate, pads, and spur. I just got the DYN wrench as it isn't too expensive.

If you search TLR on hh.com, you will find every 22 part, 10 pages.

This is what the TLR site says. (I can't post URLs yet, sorry)

Adjustable Caster (0, 3, 5, 10°)

The 22's caster can be adjusted in 0-, 3-, 5- and 10-degree* increments via the spindle carriers.
* 0-, 3-, and 5-degree spindles are optional.

Getting back in after about 12 years and decided to pre-ordered a 22, can't wait! I saw Matt Chambers with a Losi car stand. Would this happen to be the Losi 8ight car stand that is on the TLR website? I have no clue how big or small the 8ight is. I'm just making sure it will work with the 22.

Thanks,
Noob

Anyone have any idea how big the first batch of 22's will be? Want to pre order but looks like I would be way down on the list of back orders for this kit right now.

Hello,

I am looking at placing a pre order and wanting to get some springs for tuning.

1. What springs come with the kit
2. I am looking at getting a step each side of the standard. What are these spring colours?
3. Is there currently a spring set? Or just individual.

Thanks
Tim
