what does the 4mm spindles gain you over the 2mm spindles?
I broke a rear axle the other day and I can't find any replacement Losi parts( TLR2971 Axle or TLR2969 axle set). I found a set of the MIP 11155 axle set anyone using these? I would like to know if better than stock and are they heavier than the stock parts. Let me know.

The 4mm trailing spindles with smooth out the steering response of the car. They are good to run if you run on a high bite track to mellow the car out and allow you to use more wheel input without upsetting the car. They do not give the car more or less steering, just changes the feel and reaction. The inline spindles will have the opposite effect.

Does any one (Frank?!) know why the TLR334000 o-rings cannot be used with the RTR bleeder shock caps? Is there any special reason?

What are the stock spindles in the kit? Are they 4mm or inline?

I think it comes with 2mm trailing and inline.

i have had the steering mod on my buggy for around 5 months now and it has been great. I have the sc 4mm spindles, the arm grinded down 2mm and a 2mm ballstud spacer on the front kingepin screw and it has made my car much easier to drive

Gearing
Question about gearing, I took my new buggy out to the track last night for the first time, I had it set up 70/32 with Reedy Sonic 17.5/Teken RS and it temped in at 108* after 5 minutes. Because it was cool, I figured I could go up no problem and get some extra top speed, so I went up to a 70/34. Odd thing was it temped in at 112* after 6+ minutes (practice laps and race). This is what I ran for the second heat and the main and temped in at 108/112 respectively.
Does it seem odd that the temp would not go up? Either I am going to end up running something ridiculous like 70/38. I am taking the straight and sweeper at full throttle. If it wasn't obvious I am pretty new at this and don't know much about these motors and gearing effects other than some basics like FDR, not overheating and lower:torque/higher:speed. I was thinking gear up until you balance desired temp with desired speeds.

Hey guys, I'm new to the tlr 22 and was wondering if any of you run the finisher and how it does for ya. And my set up is 1257tg savox tacon8.5t( great motor for buggy) geared 23/76 10deg castor up front 4deg lrc shock position middle on top and out all the way on the bottom -1 toe out -1 camber all around and it handles great! And I have the de10 in it. Great esc for the money! Any ideas or suggestions would be appercated

That's the exact set up I run for 17.5 blinky and it hauls without being too hot

meh, ran my b4 for 2 qualifiers then switched my 22. Pulled my fastest lap of the night and for the first time pulled 11 laps on my home track...... I was about 10 seconds overall faster with the 22 and I had the wrong tires. I put the 3d's on from my 22 and the rotation was not there. I think if I would have has some holeshots on, I would have been even faster /sigh.

I want to try the gear diff in my buggy. Does the rtr gear diff drop right in? What fluid is a good starting point in the diff? Thanks.
