With all this talk about steering racks i cant recommend there's enough. Its the only upgrade a 22 needs.
the steering rack is not the thing that's wore out. it's the housing.

True story.... hold a brand new steering rack/slider in your hand, feel it, rub it. Its rough as sand paper, i cant imagine why it would wear the block so quickly. ; )

Run a new delrin rack/slider with a new housing, you will be $ ahead.

What shock orings are most of you guys running?

Two low friction?
One low friction one grey?
Two stock grey orings?
Trackstar orings?

I have tried every combo and cannot get these shocks to stop leaking, also how often are most of you changing your shock oil and also changing the orings?

Thanks in advance for any replies

One Kyosho o-ring and one low friction o-ring
Works great and stops all the leaking.

Really? The Kyosho red oring? That's for a 3mm shaft the 22's shock shafts are 3.5mm I didn't think the Kyosho orings would work. So you are using the Kring on the bottom obviously, are you still using a 3mm limiter between the orings?

Thanks again for your replies

Ikea ESC mount for mid motor You know those support mounts no one uses with their IKEA book shelves? Shoe goo mounted solid and low. Not cutting or fitting. I dremel sanded the top just to clean it off for servo tape and decals

Not sure which one they where. One of the guys at my LHS told me to try it. It seemed to work fine. I will be up there today so I will ask him which one he gave me to use. Thought I had it written down somewhere but can't seem to find it.

If you have more than enough rear grip and are willing to give up a little then you would get more steering.

I think your esc to motor wiring could use a little improvement.

Which setup are you southern californians running? I was pretty sure there was a Casper setup sheet which i followed to the T and I cant find it now. I wanted to double check it becaue I my buggy is pushing way to much off power so im looking for more steering.

I noticed Dustin Evans and Frank Root have new setups on the TLR site, just afraid its so different from the last setup i may have spend hours reconfiguring my buggy again.
