Very surprised at how easy it was to drive. Main issue I had was a lack of speed (Revtech 17.5T blinky 30/76 max endbell timing) and there was a switchback that was making me its bitch all day.

Borrowed the Revtech 17.5T from a friend and I'm pretty sure that I'm going to get a Revtech 13.5T or D3.5 13.5T. That and upgrade this slow ass JR servo to a Savox 1257TG and fill my gear diff with some 2000 oil.
Go and gear that 17.5 up.
Get the 70 spur and 33 to 35 pinion and it'll wake up.

I currently run 70/32 with my schuur speed with 40 degree timing and it's pretty fast and runs cool 2...only 123 after 7 minutes

Is 27/70 good for a 13.5?

I borrowed the Revtech 17.5T from a friend to see if I'd want to go 17.5T. Still think I'm going to get a 13.5T because I'd rather have to town it down than try to squeeze every drop of performance from a motor.

What tyres do people find good to use for indoor carpet racing?

Carbide diff balls
Mid Motor parts (not shown but new in package)
25 Degree Brass kick up shim (new in package)
5 Degree Caster Blocks
Spare rear Yellow springs (white installed)
Threaded King Pins
Aluminum 3.5 degree LRC Block
.75 Rear Hexes
23T Aluminum Servo Horn (I will add the 23/24/25 plastic ones)

I shouldn't need anything else except maybe the BFast kit correct?

Also does anyone run saddles like shown here:

I have a bunch of saddles from my 4x4 that I would like to use. Also what is the max battery height?

Sorry for all the Questions lol, once I get acclimated with the buggy I'll answer more than i ask
You can only run saddles like in the picture on the mid motor layout as far as I know. I did run saddles end to end on the rear motor layout which are the same length as a standard stick pack. I then went to a shorty pack.

25mm would be a safe battery height.

Bfast kit was nice, but i had great success running a stock diff that i took my time building and breaking in.

What's the biggest pinion I can fit with the 76T spur gear. I've for three 76T spur gears extra and would like to use them if at all possible. Even if that means running a 37-39T pinion lol

shumacher mini pins in the rear, the new low pro cut stggers in the front. Run no foams and don't glue the front, and closed cell foams in the rear (you'll need to glue those though) Theres lots of set ups out there depending how much traction you have.

Is it actual racing carpet? If so use foams or panther slicks. If its generic carpet use mini pins and staggered fronts

Rear motor, mine can go from 96 to 110 with the gears added together. So the max pinion is around a 34 with the 76 spur.

How are you guys squeezing in 35's without rubbing on the motor screws? (are you shaving down the heads?)

yea 35 is the largest but you have to do a little work get it in there...you would probably be better off with the 70/3x combo for NT, as for the 13.5 I am unsure best bet is to try the gearing and temp it after 5 minutes and also keep in mind of how it's performing

One option is the XXX-CR low profile screws. I don't care for them unless I have to, used them when we raced on a carpet stadium track with fairly short foam tires and needed huge pinions, on a XXX. LOSA6238.
