Gear Diff
I searched and couldn't find any concrete suggestions so here it goes...
I switched to the gear diff and would like input on what oil would be a good starting point for an outdoor hard packed track that goes from very dusty to slightly dusty.
From what I found searching most are running 1-7K oil but it's all other on high bite indoor clay, carpet, or AstroTurf.
For low but I want something that is higher in weight like 5-7K, right?

I run 2000w Losi oil in Tyler's 22. Both indoor high bite and outdoor low bite. His car to me was as fast with gear diff as a ball diff. Had to put a gear diff in cause when I went to rebuild ball diff the outdrives were on backorder and we had Chi-Town Shootout about to happen.
Hope this helps.

Any body suggestions to fit a MMP? I just got a 22 finally, and discovered with the MMP the body fits tight, but won't allow airflow for the fan.
Also, gearing suggestions for an 8.5 would be great. Thanks!

I ran 2000 in mine as well. But I think it depends a lot on how tight or open your track is as well. Mine Is tight and medium bite. It felt good I liked it. But now I'm back to a ball diff and I really like it. Didn't feel much of a difference going to the gears, but when I went back to the balls I actually did.

Looks like I'm going to start off with 3K. My local track is tight with the exception of two sweepers. Going to pick up some 1K and 5K incase I don't like how it feels...

Just picked up a 22! Has the following upgrades:
Currently it has a 3.5 Rear toe block installed, 25 brass kick up plate is included and 5 degree caster blocks. Buggy is set up very well for clay tracks and handles very well.
Carbide diff balls
Mid Motor parts (not shown but new in package)
25 Degree Brass kick up shim (new in package)
5 Degree Caster Blocks
Spare rear Yellow springs (white installed)
Threaded King Pins
Aluminum 3.5 degree LRC Block
.75 Rear Hexes
23T Aluminum Servo Horn (I will add the 23/24/25 plastic ones)
I shouldn't need anything else except maybe the BFast kit correct?
Also does anyone run saddles like shown here:
I have a bunch of saddles from my 4x4 that I would like to use. Also what is the max battery height?
Sorry for all the Questions lol, once I get acclimated with the buggy I'll answer more than i ask

What are the best or most essential hop ups I should get for my 22? I currently have it all stock.

What's the least amount of anti-squat that can be run on this car?
Got to drive my 22 finally!
Very surprised at how easy it was to drive. Main issue I had was a lack of speed (Revtech 17.5T blinky 30/76 max endbell timing) and there was a switchback that was making me its bitch all day.
Borrowed the Revtech 17.5T from a friend and I'm pretty sure that I'm going to get a Revtech 13.5T or D3.5 13.5T. That and upgrade this slow ass JR servo to a Savox 1257TG and fill my gear diff with some 2000 oil.

All you need is a little gear...
