Oh I do swear by these as well, but these will wear out over time provided they've been popped on and off enough.

Thanks everyone

For the RPM ball cups, is it just the heavy duty ones, or the larger 3.5mm versions?

+1. RPM makes the best-quality plastics in the industry.

You want the heavy duty 4-40 ball cups. Amainhobbies.com has them in several colors.

On all my rc18's I drilled out a little hole just big enough to get the right size hex drive through and un screw them instead of popping then off. Works pretty good because im always wrenching on them so it saves on replacing them all the time.

I ordered these for my B4.1 but for some reason they just didn't fit right so I kept the stock ones. They just seemed too big, maybe it's me? I've always had great experience with RPM products.

Weazel - when you say didn't fit, do you mean they don't fit the ball ends...or they are too long? RPM makes a couple different lengths and the longer ones wouldn't fit right on the B4.

They are too long, maybe you can point me in the direction for the right size ones?

Sure - here ya go:

ball cups

Also - if you have the longer ones, I don't believe they are threaded - so ostensibly you could cut them shorter to fit. I have a pack of them as well, and will likely give that a shot at some point
