And where are you guys mounting the Personal Transponder? and how? mounting tape etc

Horizon. They have the 2s-3s Pro in stock. I got it yesterday. Its pretty sweet. My only complaint so far is the power wires they use. They're 12 gauge but the silicone outer is stupid thick (OD is just over 4mm) and they're way stiffer than the TQ 13 gauge wire. I want to replace the wires but I don't think my iron is up to the task (a good excuse to buy a new iron ;) ).

I was thinking of mounting the transponder on the front top plate near the antenna mast, using servo tape.

The notch on the turnbuckles that comes with the b44.1....goes on entire leftside of car which I did...but a friend told me it goes on the leftside meaning lookin at car from the front....which to me puts it on the right side of car lookin at the car from the back. Help???

I did mine on the left side looking from the back. I don't know that it makes a difference as long as you know what side has the reverse thread, which you do.

Also, here is what my wiring looks like with the front top plate removed. Simple, clean, nothing too fancy.

I took a 44 chassis and bolted it to the underside of my 44.1 chassis at three points. I then took a felt pen and marked-thru the 44 chassis, onto the 44.1, to see where the mounting hole lined up. The 44 mark was both behind/rear and towards the edge/outside of the 44.1 mount.

Note: The mounting hole by which the mark appears is towards the centerline of the chassis.

You're correct, it does both, my bad:o

No issues with the wires. They can even go under the top deck. Looks clean and that is how most will run it.

Yup, mine are under the top deck. There is more room than you think and unless something pokes through your body and down onto those three wires, they will never come in contact with the slipper spring/collar.

Yes its minty fresh new. It comes with the black wires (12 gauge) pre-installed. All I did was cut to length. So far I'm very impressed with this ESC. Setup was cake and changing settings with the switch is actually pretty easy (I set the drag brake to '0'). The length of the lead to the receiver was within 1/8" of my servo lead so I didn't have to shorten anything. Only wires I did modify were for the capacitor mount. The wires were way too long.

I'll get you a pic tomorrow....anything in particular you want to see with the rear outdrives?

got my lrp 6.5t and tekin rs pro in this week. soldered it up and wow.. im loving how easy it is to change set ups with the pro. can you guys recommend which saddle pack to run with. i know the gens ace are cheap and people are having good luck with them but its only a 25c rating.. should i look at reedy or smc... i think i could beat my slash 1/4 throttle on the track!

That's the conundrum, the Gens Ace batteries are supposed to be top quality, at a lower price. Yeah the 25C is a concern but for $30 I'll give em a try. At worst they'll be practice packs, at best, I'll have four decent packs for the price of one Orion.

Someone on the forums also recommended Pro Match but their only saddle pack (5200mah 50C) is listed as out of stock.

TQ 70mm fits perfect if you have a port on the back side of you ESC.
