unsure but dont think you can set slipper on b44.1/.2 that way or any other 4x4 buggy 2-3 feet slipp then traction is pretty much standard

You absolutely can set the slipper like that on a 4wd buggy... Just gotta be more careful doing it as the car will have much more forward momentum vs a 2wd. I look for the slipping sound and how aggressive the car lurches forward when setting the slipper on my pit mat.

Just wanted to share with everyone.

WB posted a link earlier about the Azarashi "Grey Seal" conversion and I am happy to announce that my friend Bill Cline of Cline hobbies (US Importer for Team Azarashi) is taking pre-orders for the GreySeal kit.

http://www.clinehobbies.com/AZ-GS-KI...-AZ-GS-KIT.htm

If you are interested, and want to save on some shipping, contact him thru the above link to pre-order one. I myself plan to order one along with a few spares.

Could be a fun alternative to the B44/44.1 platform. Everything bolts on, just converts it from a saddle style pack into a shorty pack.

Start with an 18 and go up or down from there (with the stock spur of course).

I looked at the setup sheets on RC10.com under B44.1 and Cavaliari used 18 / 81 gearing and others used 20/81 gearset with 6.5t motors.

Find a setup sheet that matches your track conditions and go from there.

I know this a race buggy but i had to make this question: ( i do not race on tracks and i do not will bash this to death).... only speed racing and total freak speed runs!

-Does anyone know's if there is a aftermarket chassis that can fit 4s lipos or more onto this?
The story of having only sadle packs 7.4v is bugging me....i am a speed freak junkie and got this b44.1 roller about 2 years ago (cheap) but being only 7.4v i never made it happen!

I know, that will make handlig just a little worst, but it's not so bad...(don't race on tracks) and after all almost all buggys 1/8 have batery on one side and motors/servo on the other!

Thanks, let me know!
And never heard of 14.8v saddle packs.... in my brain i could make 4 saddle packs to achieve 14.8v... but i had to cut the body...(not a problem) lol

But i am not the only one, because i saw some months ago on the web, some mods for it....but not sadle packs, but it seemed to wild and crazy to be real...(reasonable) lol

Crap, i don't like maxamps baterys but saw this today:
http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-4000-111-Saddle.htm

yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, 11.1v is good enoug for me for the b44.1 so happy now! GRRRRRRR maxamps, vomite, but is better then nothing!

What's a good size motor for bashing? I'm thinking 8.5T?
